About Cause

Ryvanz-Mia Charity organization is a number one stop center that gives hope to the less advantaged in rural communities. In Uganda, it has given it’s best to the teenage mothers that befell fate after the long stretch of Covid-19.
After a baseline survey made in Busoga region in eastern Uganda, it has come up with a project plan SHE SHINES PROJECT to continue giving support pyscho-socially, economically and empowerment platform for the young girls. We believe that this project is to enable girls not to be brides at a tender age through Skilling.
The major objective for the SHE SHINES PROJECT is to empower the teenage girls that have dropped out school due to pregnancy and are having children at a tender age through life Skilling and vocational apprenticeship programs like tailoring, string art, liquid detergent making, reusable pad making, and more that can make them empowered to survive, rather than being looked at as failures.
 PROJECT DESIGN
The grace period for the pioneer teenage mothers on the SHE SHINES PROJECT will be one year. This means that there will be 6 months of apprenticeship and 4 months of monitoring, and 2 months of evaluation. The program will ensure hands on training for each skill alongside trainers allocated to them.

PROCEDURE
Ryvanz-Mia Charity organization through its field officers will hold a meeting with the local leaders to introduce the project. Furthermore, the field officers will do cluster formations for the mother’s according to their radii of stay.
So far, we have mapped 50 teenage mothers for enrollment to the SHE SHINES PROJECT. Our doors are open for partnership with other organization who share the same mission, vision with us.  We need each other’s help in this battle.
