Helen’s Journey to High School.

Kpando, Ghana · Education & Sponsorship

For years, Helen watched her friends move on to the next class while she stayed behind, unsure if her family could afford the fees for high school. Her dream of wearing a high school uniform felt far away—something reserved for other children whose parents had stable income.

Through the support of Ryvanz-Mia Charity Corp. and partners like you, Helen received help with school fees, uniforms and learning materials. Instead of dropping out, she walked through the gates of high school with her books in hand and hope in her heart.

“I never thought I would make it to high school. When my fees were paid and I received my uniform, I knew God had remembered me through people I don’t even know.”

Today, Helen is not only attending classes—she is thriving, setting her sights on finishing school and becoming a voice for other girls who feel forgotten.

Gloria’s First Year of Hope.

Ghana · Second-Year Student

Gloria is an 18-year-old final-year student who once wondered if she would ever finish school. Her family worked hard but struggled to cover exam fees, uniforms and extra materials. Each term brought new questions—would there be enough this time?

When Ryvanz-Mia Charity Corp. stepped in to support Gloria, everything changed. Her school needs were covered, and she no longer had to choose between helping at home and preparing for exams. For the first time, she could breathe and focus on her dream of completing school.

“Now I can study without fear. I want to pass my exams and become someone who also helps other girls stay in school.”

Gloria’s story is still being written, but one thing is clear—her first year of true hope began when someone like you decided she was worth investing in.

Sofiat and Her Children in Uganda.

Uganda · Mother of Four Children

In Uganda, Sofiat faced the unimaginable challenge of raising her children with very little income and constant pressure to provide food, shelter and stability. There were days when she skipped meals so her children could eat, and school seemed like a luxury they could not afford.

Through the support of Ryvanz-Mia Charity Corp. and partners in Uganda, Sofiat and her children received food assistance, basic items and help with the children’s education. The weight of doing it all alone began to lift.

“I used to cry at night worrying about tomorrow. Now I see my children smiling and going to school. I am not alone anymore.”

Today, her children are healthier and more hopeful, and Sofiat is being connected to long-term empowerment opportunities so she can provide for her family with dignity.

From Silence and Self-Doubt to a Voice Full of Hope.

Veronica grew up in a small community where finishing school was a distant dream. When her family struggled to pay fees and provide basic supplies, she began to miss classes. Each absence chipped away at her confidence. She sat at the back of the classroom, afraid to speak up, afraid to hope.

When Ryvanz-Mia Charity learned about Veronica’s situation, our team visited her home, listened to her story and decided she would not be left behind. Through the support of donors and friends, Veronica received school fees, exercise books, a uniform and the encouragement she desperately needed.

“When I got my new uniform and books, I felt like someone believed in me,” Veronica shares. “Now I am not shy to answer questions in class. I want to finish school and help other girls like me.”

Today, Veronica participates actively in class, mentors younger girls at school and talks freely about her dream of becoming a nurse. The same girl who once hid in the back now raises her hand with confidence—because someone chose to see her, support her and remind her that her dreams still matter.

Faith, one of the young people supported through Ryvanz-Mia Charity’s education and empowerment programs.

From Confusion and Fear to Clarity and Hope.

Faith grew up in a home where there was love, but very little stability. School fees were often late, learning materials were scarce, and the pressure to help at home made it difficult for her to focus on her education. With each missed class, she felt more behind and more convinced that her dreams did not matter.

When Ryvanz-Mia Charity learned about Faith’s situation, our team reached out. Through the support of caring donors, Faith received help with school fees, exercise books and a simple, consistent message: “You are capable, and your future matters.” She was invited into a safe environment where she could be mentored, encouraged and listened to.

“Before, I didn’t know what I wanted to become. Now I believe I can finish school and learn a skill. I want to support my family and help other young girls not to give up,” Faith says.

Today, Faith attends school regularly, participates in church and community activities, and is beginning to explore vocational skills that match her interests. The girl who once doubted herself is now learning to lead, make decisions and dream again—with God’s help and the support of people she may never meet in person.
