When one feels ready to give something of oneself to a cause, a thought always arises: “What difference can I make?” The answer is “a lot.” Every time someone supports our programs, their contribution fits into the mosaic of support that Ryvanz-Mia Charity operates. It is the idea that there is still altruism, sensitivity towards others, a sense of justice, and that touch of empathy that allows us to put ourselves in the other person’s shoes. Moved by the thought that someone we will never know cares for us and makes us go on with commitment and determination. Every gesture of solidarity has an immense value for us, more significant than the amount printed on a banknote.
Our passion and humanity are to give every child a chance to reach their full potential. Ryvanz-Mia Charity seeks to empower, support, and provide the children, women, and vulnerable communities we serve with the basic needs to escape poverty. However, we need your help, and your donations directly fund our humanitarian projects in Ghana and Uganda: our orphanage and work with small and private schools such as Hope Memorial School in Ghana. Many schools require funds to continue promoting their education, and you will also help our health and social care for boys and girls.
Our projects focus mainly on two goals: health and education. Two of the goals of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda.
SDG3: Ensure health and well-being for all and all ages. As medical care is a significant concern in the communities we serve in Africa, we aim to provide high-quality first aid items to those we help.
Our mission is to ensure access to medicines to treat diseases such as typhoid, malaria, and fever due to many people falling ill due to poor sanitation and water supply. Unfortunately, this is a common occurrence that we see. Therefore, we started our campaign to solicit funds to provide and donate mosquito nets and masks, distribute free hand sanitizers, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, and free sanitary products to female students’ life-saving items.
SDG 4: Providing quality, equitable and inclusive education and learning opportunities for all
We raise funds to strengthen, support and equip schools and orphanages that need financial help to stay in partnership and promote overall child development. RM Charity’s outreach programs will help struggling schools become stable financially, provide educational materials and support other programs. We want to create better educational opportunities for vulnerable children and invest in their future.
