The name Ryvanz-Mia Charity was born out of deep personal tragedy. After losing her beloved family members, our founder made a life-changing decision—to turn her pain into purpose by dedicating her life to caring for orphans. Together with Mama Esi and Ven, she began supporting vulnerable children right from her own home in Ghana. The home was lovingly named after her daughter Ryvanz and the very first volunteer, Mia.
What began as a simple, heart-level response—visiting widows, offering food support, and paying school fees one child at a time—quickly grew into something much larger. This small act of love evolved into a mission that has now transformed the lives of hundreds of orphans and vulnerable children, giving them hope, education, and a renewed chance at life. In 2006, the work became formal when Ryvanz-Mia Childcare Ghana was officially registered as a charitable nonprofit organization.
As community needs increased, so did the commitment. In 2020, Ryvanz-Mia Charity Corp. expanded its reach by becoming a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization in the United States, ensuring greater accountability, integrity, and structure for global support. Today, we continue to grow through a range of life-changing initiatives—including education sponsorships, feeding programs, widow support, and sustainable farming projects—all while trusting God for strength, wisdom, and dedicated partners.
Your involvement is a powerful part of this mission. Whether you choose to donate, start a fundraiser, or volunteer your time, your support makes a lasting impact on the lives of children who need it most.
