The name Ryvanz was born out of tragedy when our founder lost her beloved family members. In their memory, she made a heartfelt decision—to dedicate her life to helping orphans. Together with Mama Esi and Ven, she began caring for children in need right from her own home in Ghana. The orphanage was lovingly named after her daughter, Ryvanz, and the very first volunteer, Mia.
Since then, what started as an act of love has grown into a mission that has transformed the lives of hundreds of orphans—giving them hope, education, and a second chance at life. In 2006, Ryvanz-Mia was officially established and registered as a charitable nonprofit organization in Ghana.
In 2020, Ryvanz-Mia Charity expanded internationally, becoming a recognized 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization in the United States. With a dedicated team committed to making a positive impact, we remain ready to serve children and communities in need.
