Support for Nakabile Sumaya

Nakabile Sumaya is a three-year-old girl living with her mother, Basa Esther, who is 27. She has four children and lives in Valley Hill zone, Lumbuye ward, Kaliro Town Council, Kaliro District of Uganda.
Base Esther married a man temporarily employed in Kaliro Town Council as a carpenter. In February 2019, Support for Nakabile Sumaya, the husband, lost his job as a carpenter. He started working as a fisherman at the Namayingo district lakeshore and did carpentry work.
Since August 2019, her husband’s phone has gone off, and he has abandoned her in a rented house with four children. In early January 2020, Esther started selling clothes in the market and participating in subsistence farming to support her four children. Unfortunately, her farm flooded recently, destroying crops and roads. Hence, losses have been counted after heavy downpours killed their primary food source and income.

Esther abandoned the rented house, which the landlord has been demanding for over eight months now; the reality is that she has been serving hand to mouth and lost her livelihood. If you feel as though you want to sponsor little Nakabile, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
