Her Story

“I Want to Finish School and Help Others.”

Gloria grew up in a low-income community in Ghana where paying school fees is a constant struggle. Her caregivers work hard, but income is irregular and often not enough to meet all basic needs. There have been times she was sent home from school because fees were not paid on time.

Even with these challenges, Gloria continues to work hard in class and dreams of becoming a nurse so she can care for others in her community. She loves Mathematics, enjoys reading, and is often seen helping younger learners revise after school.

“Sometimes I was afraid I would not write my final exams, but now I have hope that I can finish school,” Gloria shares.

Through Ryvanz-Mia Charity Corp’s sponsorship program, your support can help stabilize Gloria’s schooling so that unpaid fees, missing materials, or lack of meals no longer stand between her and her future.

Family & Community

Gloria lives with her extended family, who do their best to support her education. However, with other children to care for and limited resources, they are unable to cover all costs alone.
